Community solidarity initiatives support education and international projects

Various community-led initiatives in Italy and Slovenia have focused on charitable causes through sports and local events.

In Italy, the Etrusca Atletica sports club partnered with the Caritas of the Diocese of Porto-Santa Rufina for the “Tutti a Scuola” project. This initiative collected funds and school supplies, including notebooks, pencil cases, and backpacks, to support local families facing economic difficulties and ensure children have necessary materials for the school year. The official delivery of materials took place on October 30.

In Tolmezzo, Slovenia, the “Trofeo Benefico della Solidarietà Tiro con Fionde” brought together participants for a slingshot competition. Organized by Amici della Fionde, Libertas Tolmezzo Atletica Leggera, and the Tondo brothers, the event was supported by A2A Life Company. All proceeds from the competition were donated to the association Solidarmondo to fund the “Imparare per vivere” project, which supports a school in Ahepè, Togo.
