In Neumarkt, Austria, the redesigned NaturLese- und Generationenpark was officially opened on September 19, 2026. Supported by approximately 200,000 euros in LEADER funding from the Holzwelt Murau region, the park aims to serve as a social meeting point for locals and visitors of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.

In Mannheim, Germany, the annual PARKingDay took place on September 20, 2026, in the Fressgasse area. The event utilized information stands and various activities to demonstrate how transforming high-traffic streets into pedestrian-friendly spaces can improve urban quality of life. Organizers and participating groups, including Fuss e. V., advocated for increased greenery to combat heat and reduced vehicle emissions to create more livable social spaces.
