Community sports and cultural infrastructure projects launched in Colombia and Argentina
In Cartagena, Colombia, the cement company Argos has contributed 500 bags of cement to the construction of a community sports court in the Los Ángeles sector of El Pozón. The project, a collaborative effort involving the Plan para el Buen Vivir, the Los Ángeles Community Action Board, Verde Calicanto, and the Fundación Grupo Social, aims to provide a recreational space for more than 1,500 families.
In Argentina, the community of Esquina de Argúas, located near Coronel Vidal in the Mar Chiquita district, is hosting a cultural event on September 13 to inaugurate a new bocce court. The celebration includes a card game championship, live music, and folkloric dance workshops intended to strengthen local social ties and preserve regional traditions.
