Community sports events promote wellness and charity in Italy

Various community sports initiatives are taking place across Italy to promote health and solidarity. In Modena, the ‘Muoviti Muoviti in Festa’ project marks its 20th year, offering children a morning of diverse athletic activities including football, volleyball, basketball, rugby, and martial arts at the Dorando Pietri Athletics and Rugby Complex.

In Turin, the third edition of the ‘GiochiAMO per UGI’ tournament was held at the GSD KL Pertusa field to raise funds for the Unione Genitori Italiani (UGI), an association supporting children with oncological pathologies and their families. The event featured participation from local organizations such as the Carabinieri, State Police, and Firefighters, with Juventus Women striker Chiara Beccari and Torino player Laura Saito participating to kick off the charity tournament.
