Community Sports Grants Strengthen Clubs in New Zealand and Australia

The New Zealand Community Trust awarded a NZ$44,556 grant to Feilding United AFC to install new lighting, replace playing jerseys and upgrade first‑aid equipment, improving safety and enabling winter training for its growing junior and senior teams.

In Victoria, Australia, the Woolworths Netball Grant provided $2,000 each to Seaford Football Netball Club and Wandong Netball Club. Seaford will use the funds to feature Indigenous artwork on its 2027 uniforms and support inclusion initiatives, while Wandong will continue its long‑standing community‑driven netball programs for over 130 players.

Both grants aim to enhance participation, safety and cultural inclusion at the grassroots level.
