Various regional sports events and community initiatives are taking place across Italy, focusing on memorial tournaments, charity, and local development.

In Montesilvano, the Festival dello Sport, promoted by CONI Abruzzo, is scheduled for October 2026, featuring school days and family activities. In Melilli, a new volleyball court at Pala Melilli is being inaugurated alongside the 3rd “Terrazza degli Iblei” Trophy. Turi held the 4th Antonio Gasparro Memorial, combining volleyball matches with student scholarships.

Charity remains a central theme, with the 18th Gianbattista Mazzini Memorial raising over 24,000 euros for patients with myeloproliferative diseases. In Messina, a joint volleyball training session between Messina Volley and Futura Volley aims to raise funds for the Sant’Antonio soup kitchen. Additionally, the Ada Arcuri Padel Memorial in Sciacca concluded its fifth edition with 64 participants.

Other notable events include the Giba Day in La Spezia, featuring traditional games, and the Ferrara Sport Festival, where Ariosto won the Under 16 women's handball tournament. In Galatina, the 20th Fernando Panico Memorial brought together various volleyball clubs to honor the late coach.
