Community summer events held in Cerva and Merate

In Cerva, a wedding dress fashion show drew over 700 spectators to a crowded amphitheater as part of the first edition of the 'Estate Cervese 2026' summer program. The event featured 16 models and a video presentation showcasing wedding attire from 1960 to 2025, including 38 dresses loaned by local residents from Cerva and Petronà.

The evening included musical performances by violinist Febe Cuda and the Diapasan choir, directed by Maestro Rosario Folino. Mayor Sara Colistra noted that the event was the result of extensive preparation coordinated by cultural councilor Nadia Filippis and her team.

In Merate, the 2026 edition of the Centro Ricreativo Estivo (CRE) concluded with a community celebration. Held at the Montello Primary School from July 13 to August 7, the program was managed by the municipality and entrusted to the Retesalute agency. The summer program utilized a 'Kung Fu Panda' themed educational itinerary to promote personal growth and resilience among children and adolescents.
