Community Summer Festivals Celebrate Youth and School Life in German Towns

The youth department of 1. FC Frickenhausen hosted a summer festival that drew 160 to 180 participants for a parent‑child football tournament, food stalls and a day of communal celebration under sunny skies. The event highlighted the club’s strong sense of togetherness and was supported by many volunteers who provided catering and organization.

At the same time, Schönborn Gymnasium in Bruchsal held its traditional end‑of‑year school fest on July 24. The school leaders, including principal Daniela Seebach, thanked parents and class‑representatives for arranging a program featuring a welcome ceremony, culinary offerings, a tombola, performances by students and teachers, and various activity stands. Both festivals underscored the value of local participation and leisure in German community life.
