Community summer programs for children conclude in Romania and Germany

Various community-led summer programs for children have recently concluded in Romania and Germany.

In Techirghiol, Romania, the Honterus congregation of the Evangelical Church A. B. in Kronstadt hosted a vacation camp for children aged eight to twelve from July 20 to 26, 2026. The program, themed ‘Water, Wind, and Wonders,’ combined outdoor activities at the Black Sea with religious education, including daily plays, singing, and small group discussions focused on biblical stories and themes of trust and community.

In Hockenheim, Germany, the city's summer holiday program for children has also come to an end. Local officials, including Mayor Marcus Zeitler and Social Department Head Linda Hoti, expressed gratitude to the various clubs, organizations, and volunteers who provided a safe and diverse range of activities for participating families throughout the summer break.
