Community summer safety and education events held in Tarnów and Darłowo

Various community-focused summer events and educational programs took place across Poland in August 2026, emphasizing safety and youth engagement.

In Tarnów, an educational picnic co-organized with Radio and Television Poland (Telewizja Polska) was held at the Kantoria Recreation and Leisure Center. The event featured demonstrations by police from Kraków and Tarnów, including forensic laboratory specialists and service dog handlers. Key educational themes included water and mountain safety, the proper use of the 112 emergency number, digital security, and protecting seniors from internet fraud through the ‘Ustal z Babcią hasło’ campaign.

In Darłowo, the final session of municipal day camps concluded between August 10 and 21. The program focused on active recreation and safety education, including sessions with police officers regarding road safety and responsible decision-making through the ‘Kompas’ program. Activities included outdoor sports, rope park excursions, musical workshops, and creative arts to promote social integration among participants.
