Community support initiatives active in Mato Grosso do Sul

Various community support initiatives are active in Mato Grosso do Sul. In Campo Grande, the ‘Projeto Padrinho’ has launched a donation campaign to support children and families. The drive seeks items such as diapers, infant formula, clothing, footwear, and toys. Donations can be delivered to the Campo Grande Forum headquarters until October 30.

In Dourados, the ‘Territórios Solidários’ project, developed by Sesc MS, recently completed its first community garden harvest. The initiative, which began in July, involves 20 families and focuses on food security and autonomy through practical workshops. Participants have engaged in collective cultivation and cooking classes aimed at healthy eating and reducing food waste.
