Community support initiatives focus on education and gender-based violence prevention

The Femme Intwari Association provided school supplies to 64 students to support their education for the 2026-2027 academic year. The beneficiaries included students from single-parent families and 17 university students, who also received funds for academic materials. Additionally, the association assisted 17 of its own members facing financial difficulties to prepare for the new school year.

In Ouagadougou, the Initiative Panatougri pour le bien-être de la femme (IPBF) met with the Director General of Editions Sidwaya, Assetou Badoh, to discuss a potential partnership. The collaboration aims to combat gender-based violence (GBV) by leveraging Sidwaya’s editorial influence. IPBF, a feminist organization operating in over nine African countries, seeks to use the media outlet as an active participant in the fight for women's rights and empowerment.
