Community support initiatives launch in Parma and Rome
In Italy, two distinct community initiatives are launching to support citizens. In Parma, Confconsumatori APS is hosting a series of Open Days starting September 29, 2026. These sessions, held as part of the Co. Re. Com. Emilia-Romagna project, will provide specialized assistance regarding telephony and internet services. Consultants will help residents verify billing accuracy, analyze commercial offers, understand user rights, and assist with formal complaints or conciliation procedures.
Simultaneously, in Rome, ACLI is inaugurating a 'Dispensa Solidale' (Solidarity Pantry) on September 29, 2026, at via Cristoforo Colombo 356. This project, which coincides with the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, aims to collect, store, and redistribute surplus food to families in need. The facility will also serve as a center for listening and guidance for vulnerable individuals, supported by local authorities and the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel.
