Community theater productions announced in Tirschenreuth and Quierschied

Several German community theater groups have announced upcoming performances. In Tirschenreuth, the Trachtenverein D’ Werdenfelser will present the comedy ‘Der verkaufte Großvater’ by Anton Hamik. Performances are scheduled for October 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2026, at the St. Peter mission house gymnasium. Tickets go on sale October 12 for nine euros.

In Quierschied, the Wohltätigkeitsbühne 1920 will perform a modernized version of the classic ‘Pension Schöller’ on November 14, 15, and 21. This production, set in 1959 Berlin, features a cast of 14 actors. All proceeds from these performances will be donated to charitable causes.
