Community workshops and collective drawing initiatives launched in Argentina and Spain
Various community-focused workshops and artistic initiatives have been launched in Argentina and Spain.
In the La Esmeralda neighborhood of Argentina, a series of free weekly workshops has commenced. The program includes technical drawing, audiovisual art, dance, percussion, sports, cooking, sewing, and community projects. The location also serves as a new branch for the Orquesta-Escuela Chascomús, which provides weekly musical training. Registrations are accepted daily at the neighborhood building.
In Spain, several cultural institutions, libraries, and schools are hosting collaborative drawing activities throughout October and November. In Bilbao, a cycle of weekend workshops led by Raúl Domínguez Pazo and Mónica Martínez includes sessions such as ‘Dibujo espejo’ and ‘Bajo el árbol’ to encourage collective creation. Additionally, the IED Barcelona is hosting a collective mural intervention guided by the artist Laco2.
