Community workshops promote tourism and traditional crafts in Argentina and Spain
Various local governments and organizations are hosting community workshops focused on tourism, traditional crafts, and cultural heritage.
In Argentina, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Sport is conducting free training sessions in Belén and Londres as part of the Turismo Capacita 2026 program. These workshops aim to strengthen tourism services by teaching visitor attention, guiding techniques, and the use of artificial intelligence for social media promotion.
In Spain, several cultural initiatives are underway. Puertollano is hosting a children's workshop for painting traditional ceramic water jugs (botijos) to promote local heritage and sustainable water consumption. Meanwhile, La Laguna is offering free sessions for painting and decorating nativity scene figures (belenismo) at the El Tranvía Citizen Center to preserve artisanal traditions and encourage community engagement.
