Commure terminates AI product referral programs

Commure, a health software company valued at $7 billion, has terminated its customer referral programs for its artificial intelligence products. This decision follows an investigation by STAT which revealed that the company had been offering thousands of dollars to customers and other parties to refer its AI tools to new business prospects.

Internal emails from Commure’s chief legal officer, Dan Brian, notified program members that their payment agreements would end 30 days after receiving notice. The company stated that any outstanding amounts owed under the agreements as of the termination date would be paid in full.
