Commvault enables recovery for Anthropic Claude and ChatGPT agent configurations
Commvault has introduced new capabilities within its AgentRecover offering to help IT and security teams manage AI agent data. The service enables the discovery, protection, and recovery of ChatGPT and agent configurations, as well as other AI data within Anthropic’s Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and OpenClaw.
As employees increasingly run AI agents on Windows and macOS devices, organizations face the risk of losing critical agent metadata, accumulated AI context, and workflows if hardware is lost, damaged, or replaced. Commvault’s solution aims to provide visibility into where these tools are installed and a path to restore the context built within them.
While competitors like Cohesity and Druva also offer AI resilience and backup services, Commvault’s specific support for Anthropic agents and OpenClaw distinguishes its current offering in the enterprise AI recoverability market.
