Como 1907 signs Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on loan

Como 1907 has officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on a one-season loan from Chelsea. The deal was finalized on the final day of the Serie A transfer window. The agreement does not include an option or obligation for a permanent transfer.

Sanchez's move to Italy follows Chelsea's decision to sign Argentine international Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. With Martinez established as the primary goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea sought a new club for Sanchez to ensure he receives significant playing time. Sanchez is expected to provide competition for Como's current number one, Jean Butez.
