Como bids €25 million for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah
Italian Serie A side Como has submitted an initial offer of €25 million plus €2 million in bonuses for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. Chelsea have indicated they will not accept the proposal, demanding €30 million in fixed fee and an additional €5 million in performance‑related bonuses.
Chalobah, 26, played 34 Premier League matches for Chelsea last season, scoring three goals. The move is part of Como’s summer transfer strategy to strengthen their defence ahead of European competition. Other clubs, including Inter Milan, have also shown interest, and the player could feature for England if injuries persist.
Negotiations remain ongoing, with the possibility that Como will raise its offer to meet Chelsea’s valuation.
