Como hosts commemorative events for painter Morazzone

In Como, a series of conferences and guided tours will accompany the exhibition dedicated to the painter Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli, known as Morazzone, marking the fourth centenary of his death. The program, running from September to January, includes visits to the Pinacoteca Civica, the Cathedral, and other local sites.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Cathedral, the Pinacoteca Civica, and the Diocesan Office of Artistic Heritage of Como. It is part of a broader project leading to the opening of the Duomo Museum and the Basilica of San Giacomo, which are currently undergoing restoration.
