The new headquarters for the Como Employment Center and Targeted Placement has been inaugurated at via Volta 44, located in the former Provveditorato building. The facility is the result of a recovery and redevelopment project carried out as part of the regional plan to strengthen Employment Centers, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
The ceremony was attended by various institutional representatives, including Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of the Interior Nicola Molteni, Como Prefect Corrado Conforto Galli, Como Police Chief Filippo Ferri, and Lombardy Regional Councilor Alessandro Fermi. A message from the Minister for Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, was also read during the event.
The renovated spaces are designed to provide services for citizens and businesses, with a specific focus on orientation, training, and job placement. Fiorenzo Bongiasca, President of the Province of Como, emphasized that the new facility aims to support job seekers through better services and improved working conditions for operators.
