Inter close to securing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah as Como raises offer
Inter Milan have emerged as the frontrunner in the race to sign Chelsea centre‑back Trevoh Chalobah. The 27‑year‑old defender has indicated a preference for a move to the Italian club and personal terms with Inter have been discussed. Chelsea have set a price of €30 million plus €5 million in add‑ons, a figure that Como have attempted to match with a revised €30 million bid that includes bonuses. While Chelsea have rejected earlier offers, they have not yet accepted any proposal, leaving the transfer unresolved. Inter are awaiting a final agreement with Chelsea and continue to explore alternative defensive options.
Separate reports note that John Stones, a former Manchester City defender, has also been linked with Inter, but the club appears more focused on securing Chalobah.
