Como rejects €70 million offers for Martin Baturina

Como 1907 management has rejected significant transfer offers for Croatian midfielder Martin Baturina. According to reports and insider Sacha Tavolieri, Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Newcastle United were prepared to offer up to €70 million for the 23-year-old.

Despite the substantial financial interest, which would have made Baturina the most expensive Croatian footballer in history, Como considers the player untouchable. The club intends to build its future around him as they prepare for competition in the Champions League.

Baturina joined Como from Dinamo Zagreb for €18 million last year. After an initial period of adjustment, he became a key player, recording eight goals and four assists in 34 to 35 appearances last season. His continued development is seen as central to the club's long-term stability.
