Como residents protest tourist bus congestion and hygiene issues

Residents in Como are protesting the influx of tourist buses parked along via Regina Teodolinda. The long queues of vehicles have led to complaints regarding urban hygiene, with locals reporting liquid spills on the asphalt from bus exhausts and alleging that drivers have used the spaces between vehicles and walls for urination.

The situation is exacerbated by a lack of adequate parking infrastructure. Residents are awaiting the resolution of a legal dispute between the municipality and San Giovanni Srl regarding the reopening of the via Regina Teodolinda parking lot.
