Comodoro Rivadavia advances Alzheimer's awareness initiatives

The Municipality of Comodoro Rivadavia is advancing initiatives to increase awareness and support for Alzheimer's disease. As part of World Alzheimer's Month, local officials participated in the “Hablemos de Demencia – Hablemos de Alzheimer” seminar held at the Cultural Center Auditorium.

Throughout September, the municipality is collaborating with public and private institutions, including the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco and Hospital Alvear, to promote prevention, early diagnosis, and support for seniors and their families. Mayor Othar Macharashvili emphasized the importance of creating support spaces for an aging population, highlighting strategic alliances such as the “Papa Francisco” Day Center in Km 8.
