Comodoro Rivadavia authorities seize neglected horses near Rada Tilly

Authorities in the Comodoro Rivadavia jurisdiction near Rada Tilly have seized a group of horses found in poor physical condition. The intervention occurred after videos of the animals circulated on social media, showing signs of neglect and physical injury.

According to Miguel Gómez, Secretary of Operational Control, the horses lacked identification marks to determine ownership. The animals have been moved to a municipal transit corral where they are receiving food and veterinary assistance.

Under a new municipal ordinance, a deadline was set for owners to claim the animals, which has now passed without any claimants appearing. Officials are now considering secondary options for the horses, which include donation to equine therapy institutions or a public auction.
