Comodoro Rivadavia celebrates 30 years of Antonio Morán pier

The Antonio Morán offshore pier in Comodoro Rivadavia is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a three-day community event from October 10 to 12. Organized by the Port Administration with support from the Chubut Government, the festivities aim to connect the local community with the port's strategic economic and productive importance.

Key attractions include guided tours of the facilities and visits to the Argentine Navy destroyer ARA Almirante Brown, which will be open to the public on Sunday and Monday. The program features a variety of activities, including regattas organized by the Club Náutico Comandante Espora, sports competitions, cultural shows, and photography and drawing contests.

Administrator Digna Hernando stated that the goal is to demystify the port and encourage residents to engage with the site. The celebration will conclude on Monday, October 12, with a main ceremony and awards presentation.
