Comodoro Rivadavia court orders restoration of advertising for two media outlets

An administrative court in Comodoro Rivadavia has ruled against the local municipality, ordering the immediate restoration of advertising revenue for Radio Del Sur and Argentarnoticias. The court declared the suspension of these funds, which occurred in June, to be arbitrary.

The media outlets characterized the withdrawal of advertising as an attempt at economic censorship intended to penalize editorial stances that differ from the administration led by Othar Macharashvilli. This ruling marks the first instance of such a judicial decision regarding similar circumstances in the city.
