Comodoro Rivadavia hosts sustainable fashion show for Chubut entrepreneurs
The city of Comodoro Rivadavia hosted a sustainable fashion show featuring designers from the Chubut province. The event showcased collections from the provincial programs ‘Raíz Emprendedora’ and ‘Tejiendo Futuro’, both of which are promoted by the General Secretariat of the Government of Chubut.
The runway focused on merging author design with environmental sustainability and Patagonian identity. Participants included local entrepreneurs and traditional spinners such as Clara Leufuman and Vanesa Huenchueque, who demonstrated how to transform local heritage into high-value clothing and accessories.
Beyond the aesthetic presentation, the initiative aims to foster economic autonomy and formalization for women in the region through training, commercialization support, and management tools. The event serves as a platform to promote local talent and economic growth through a gender perspective.
