Comodoro Rivadavia modernizes public transport shelters

The Municipality of Comodoro Rivadavia has launched a comprehensive plan to modernize public transport shelters. The first modules have been installed on Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue, a major transit and transfer point in the city.

As part of a new public transport service concession, the new shelters feature a modern, inclusive design with high-resistance glass modules. To promote sustainability, the structures include solar panels to power mobile phone charging stations and anti-vandalism LED lighting.

Security enhancements will be integrated in the coming days, including video surveillance cameras connected to the Monitoring Center and panic buttons for emergency situations.
