Comodoro Rivadavia Municipality files seized by Prosecutor's Office

The Public Prosecutor's Office has withdrawn four original files from the Municipality of Comodoro Rivadavia as part of an investigation triggered by a complaint from Councilor Omar Latancia. The documents pertain to various public works projects, including guard posts, sidewalks in the central plaza, and a 2024 parking lot.

Municipal officials, including Secretary of Government Maximiliano Ostoich and Secretary of Public Works Fernando Ostoich, stated that the documentation was provided voluntarily within the requested timeframe. While the municipality confirmed the files were made available for pickup on Monday, Maximiliano Ostoich noted that the presence of the Brigade during the retrieval was unusual and felt “exaggerated,” though he clarified that the action was not a raid but a standard delivery of requested documents.
