Ruta del Fuego binational tourism circuit launched

The “Ruta del Fuego: una experiencia binacional en el Fin del Mundo” has been officially launched at the International Tourism Fair (FIT). This new tourism circuit integrates destinations across the Argentine and Chilean provinces of Tierra del Fuego.

Spanning approximately 1,800 kilometers, the route connects Argentine locations such as Río Grande and Tolhuin with Chilean communes including Porvenir, Timaukel, and Primavera. The circuit utilizes the San Sebastián and Bella Vista border crossings to offer a unified experience of the region's landscapes, including forests, glaciers, and coastal areas.

The initiative is led by the Instituto Fueguino de Turismo (INFUETUR) in collaboration with local municipalities, Chilean communes, business chambers, and consulates. Dante Querciali, president of INFUETUR, emphasized that the project aims to promote emerging destinations and consolidate previously isolated sectors into a single binational itinerary.
