Comodoro Rivadavia promotes Patagonian tourism

Comodoro Rivadavia, located in the heart of Argentine Patagonia, is being promoted as a diverse travel destination focusing on land, sea, and air experiences. During a recent webinar, Eduardo Carrasco, manager of Ente Comodoro Turismo, detailed the city's natural, cultural, and gastronomic offerings.

Key terrestrial attractions include the Rocas Coloradas Natural Protected Area, known for its red geological formations, cliffs, and canyons. Other notable sites include Pico Salamanca, Cerro Chenque, Faro San Jorge, and historical neighborhoods such as Astra and Diadema, which are linked to the city's oil industry identity. Visitors can engage in activities like trekking, cycling, and bird watching.

The maritime dimension features the San Jorge Gulf, which supports activities such as diving, kayaking, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding.
