Comodoro Rivadavia provides housing for 89 families displaced by Cerro Hermitte
The local government has completed the first phase of housing solutions for 89 families displaced by Cerro Hermitte. The distribution included 39 serviced lots and 50 plots equipped with basic infrastructure and modular homes.
The allocated properties are located in the Don Bosco and Restinga Alí neighborhoods, with individual land sizes ranging between 250 and 300 square meters. Each site includes essential services such as water, electricity, gas, and sewage systems, along with legal documentation to ensure tenure security for the beneficiaries.
Bruno Hernández, the Secretary of Territorial Planning, stated that work continues to provide responses to a second list of affected residents. The municipality plans to coordinate with the provincial government to address the remaining families and transition them from provisional alternatives to permanent stability.
