ComoNe facility to host autumn festival at Nagoya University
The Common Nexus (ComoNe) co-creation facility at Nagoya University will host its fifth autumn festival, ‘Como no Ichi #05’, on October 2 and 3, 2026. The event is designed to bring together students, researchers, creators, and local citizens to experience ‘future co-creation’ through the theme of ‘play’.
The festival will feature over 30 different contents, including research exhibitions, radio events with researchers, and workshops such as traditional Arimatsu Shibori dyeing and science experiments involving dilatancy. A special exhibition titled ‘ComoNe Program #03 in TOUCH’ will explore the concept of touch through various projects and talk sessions featuring academic experts.
Additional activities include a keynote talk by ComoNe Ambassador Shingo Iwata, a tour of the facility’s architecture, and a bubble-making event by the Nagoya University Soap Bubble Circle. Local food vendors and kitchen cars will also be available on-site. The event is free to the public.
