Comoros defeats Namibia 1-0 in AFCON 2027 qualifier

Namibia's Brave Warriors suffered a 1-0 defeat to Comoros in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier held at the Stade Omnisports De Malouzini. After a scoreless first half, Bendjaloud Youssouf secured the victory for the hosts in the 53rd minute with a long-range shot that took a difficult bounce past Namibian goalkeeper Kamaijanda Ndisiro.

Despite the loss, Namibia created several scoring opportunities in the second half. Top striker Peter Shalulile missed key chances, and other attempts by Aprocius Petrus and Wendell Rudath were saved or missed. The result marks Comoros' second consecutive victory over Namibia and ends a 10-match winless streak for the island nation.
