Compañía Minera del Pacífico wins SME payment award

Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP) has received the Mejores Empresas Pagadoras (MEP) award for the fourth consecutive year. The distinction is granted by the Bolsa de Productos and the Asociación de Emprendedores de Chile (ASECH) to recognize best practices in payment processes to SME suppliers.

CMP was selected from 17,762 analyzed companies and ranked among the top three in the mining category. The company has focused its payment policies on the Atacama and Coquimbo regions, where more than 40% of its suppliers are headquartered. Currently, 37% of the company's purchases are directed toward strengthening the local value chain.

Regarding payment terms, local companies receive payments within a maximum of 15 days of invoice issuance. Regional transport SMEs benefit from a seven-business-day payment modality implemented in August 2025 to provide greater financial certainty.
