Automotive market updates feature new SUV trims and model releases

The automotive market is seeing various updates across compact SUVs and sports cars in Japan and Taiwan. In Japan, the Toyota Corolla Cross has undergone modifications, including the removal of the entry-level G grade, shifting focus to the S and Z trims. The Z Adventure special edition is highlighted for its enhanced features and North American-style styling.

Market trends in Japan also show a strong interest in compact SUVs with high resale value, such as the Toyota Yaris Cross, Honda Vezel, and Suzuki Jimny Sierra. Additionally, the Toyota GR86 has received updates, including the integration of the Eyesight 4.0 safety system.

In Taiwan, several new models and price adjustments have been noted. The Mazda CX-5 has seen a price reduction and now features all-wheel drive as standard. Suzuki has released a black-themed special edition of the Swift, while the Toyota GR86 has seen a slight price increase following safety upgrades. Peugeot is also expected to re-enter the 7-seater MPV market with the Expert and Traveller models.
