Companies announce partnerships for GREEN×EXPO 2027 in Yokohama

Several companies have announced partnerships and sponsorships for the International Horticultural Expo 2027 (GREEN×EXPO 2027), scheduled to take place in Yokohama, Japan, from March 19 to September 26, 2027.

JTOWER has joined as a partner to support venue operations. Having been selected as an infrastructure sharing provider, the company will manage the entire communication environment for the expo. This includes the survey, design, construction, and maintenance of outdoor telecommunications equipment in coordination with mobile carriers to ensure stable connectivity for visitors.

Nara Construction and its affiliate, Agri-Oh, have signed a sponsorship agreement with the City of Yokohama. They will exhibit a closed aquaponics system at the Yokohama City exhibition space. This system combines hydroponics and aquaculture to demonstrate resource circulation through the interaction of fish, microorganisms, and plants. The exhibition aims to showcase the potential of green infrastructure for sustainable food production and environmental education.
