Competitive Sectors Program concludes with €260 million investment

The second phase of the Competitive Sectors Program (RSP), a joint initiative between the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology and the European Union, is concluding. The program has provided approximately 260 million euros in funding to 43 projects aimed at strengthening Turkey's industrial and technological infrastructure and enhancing its global competitiveness.

Key outcomes of the program include the creation of over 3,000 new jobs, the establishment of 25 new R&D and technology infrastructures, and the support of 98 innovation and technology transfer structures. Additionally, the program directly served 1,113 SMEs and resulted in the commercialization of 40 new products. Project areas spanned from autonomous vehicle technologies and digital factories to artificial intelligence and targeted cancer treatments.

A closing conference titled ‘Transforming Innovation into Impact’ will be held in Ankara on October 14. The event will feature high-level participation, including Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Foreign Minister and EU Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, and Valentina di Sebastiano of the EU Delegation to Türkiye.
