Compiègne to host traditional Fête du Pont-Neuf

The city of Compiègne is preparing for the traditional Fête du Pont-Neuf, scheduled for Saturday, September 12. The celebration, held along the banks of the Oise, will feature a concert and a pyrotechnic light show starting at 8:30 PM.

To accommodate the festivities, local authorities have implemented significant traffic and parking restrictions. Parking is prohibited in several key areas, including Rue du Port à Bateaux from September 11 to September 13, and various quays throughout Saturday. Additionally, the Pont-Neuf will be closed to pedestrians starting Friday morning, and vehicle access will be cut off Friday evening. The Pont Louis XV will also be closed on Saturday night to ensure safety during the fireworks display.
