Complexul Energetic Oltenia provides 15% of Romania's electricity

Complexul Energetic Oltenia (CEO) currently accounts for approximately 15% of Romania's national electricity production. The company is operating three energy groups: two at the Rovinari branch and one at the Turceni thermal power plant. These groups produce an average of 600-700 MWh each, contributing to the National Energy System and fulfilling bilateral contractual obligations with commercial partners.

Amidst these production figures, the company is undergoing a restructuring process. CEO has initiated procedures to fill a vacant position within its Directorate, with the term lasting until April 12, 2028. The selection process is being conducted in accordance with emergency ordinance no. 109/2011 regarding the corporate governance of public enterprises.
