Rajinikanth tributes composer Deva; Singapore limits mask sales amid haze

Indian actor Rajinikanth has paid a moving tribute to music composer Deva following the latter's death from a heart attack. In Singapore, retailers have begun imposing purchase limits on N95 masks due to a surge in demand caused by worsening haze conditions. The PSI levels have remained in the unhealthy range for 12 consecutive days, the longest period since 2015. Guardian has implemented restrictions, limiting in-store customers to five N95 masks and two boxes of surgical masks per day, with stricter limits for online orders. While Watsons reported sufficient stock, its online inventory for KN95 masks was listed as sold out as of October 16.
