Composer Trần Tiến performs at three-generation concert in Hanoi

The music concert ‘Phòng khách 3 thế hệ’ (Living Room of 3 Generations) took place on August 22 at the Hồ Gươm Opera House in Hanoi, featuring a diverse lineup of artists spanning three generations of Vietnamese music.

Led by music director Dương Cầm, the event brought together veteran composer Trần Tiến, diva Hà Trần, singer-songwriter Phan Mạnh Quỳnh, artist Thắng, and young vocalist Marzuz. The program aimed to create a space where different musical personalities could coexist while maintaining their unique styles through mashups and collaborative arrangements.

At 80 years old, Trần Tiến performed classics such as ‘Quê nhà’ and ‘Tóc gió thôi bay.’ During the performance, he expressed his continued passion for music, stating, “I am 80 years old, I am very happy that there are still people who want to hear me sing,” and affirming that he would continue to perform even if only one person remained to listen.
