CompuGroup Medical appoints Stefano Santinelli to lead Europe Atlantic

CompuGroup Medical (CGM) has appointed Stefano Santinelli to lead its Europe Atlantic business area. In this role, Santinelli will oversee strategic markets including Italy, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and South Africa.

Santinelli, a 56-year-old Swiss-Italian manager, previously served as CEO of Localsearch, a Swisscom subsidiary, and played a key role in the development of Swisscom Health. His professional background also includes international management roles at Microsoft, SAP, and ABB.

The appointment aligns with CGM’s strategy to focus on high-growth markets and technological innovation, specifically the integration of artificial intelligence into its e-health products and processes to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes. CGM CEO Daniel Gotthardt stated that the leadership team aims to strengthen innovation and simplify workflows across all markets.
