Comrat entrepreneur opens modern physiotherapy clinic

Angela Hortolomei, a resident of Comrat, has opened a private physiotherapy clinic in southern Moldova after spending 17 years working in Italy. The clinic aims to provide specialized medical services locally, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances to sanatoriums in Cahul or Călărași.

Hortolomei utilized her personal savings along with a 250,000 lei grant from the PARE 1+2 program, administered by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), to purchase modern medical equipment. The facility offers specialized services such as vacuum therapy and lipolaser, which are noted as being unique to the southern region.
