Comunicaciones to announce new player reinforcements this week

Comunicaciones manager Roberto Montoya has confirmed that the club will announce new player reinforcements this week. The decision to seek additions follows a period where Montoya chose to work with his existing squad to evaluate player performance before making roster changes.

The search for new talent was accelerated by a significant injury to striker Agustín Vuletich. Vuletich suffered a grade III tear of the right acromioclavicular ligament during a match against Xelajú, an injury that requires surgery and is expected to sideline him for the remainder of the Apertura 2026 tournament.

Montoya indicated that the club may sign two new players, though official announcements depend on the completion of necessary paperwork. The manager expressed hope that these reinforcements will be available for the upcoming match against San Pedro.
