Argentina tourism sectors prepare for FIT 2026 and regional expansion

Various Argentine regions and international partners are preparing for the 30th edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo (FIT) in Buenos Aires, scheduled for September 26–29, 2026. The event will feature significant participation from Tierra del Fuego, which will promote its services alongside 50 local providers, and El Calafate, which plans to showcase its glacial offerings and regional products.

Other regional initiatives include the Punilla Regional Community’s “Punilla Se Vive” brand, focusing on astrotourism, wellness, and local production. Additionally, Mendoza is strengthening its presence in the Brazilian market through commercial missions, while La Pampa is promoting its growing enotourism sector in Trenel.

In cultural news, the Neuquén International Book Fair concluded its 13th edition with a record-breaking 270,000 visitors. Meanwhile, in Mendoza, logistics officials visited Palmira to inspect the Pasip and the development of a future logistics hub aimed at enhancing the bioceanic freight corridor.
