Coín school director and teacher assaulted by student's parents

The mother of a student has been arrested by the Guardia Civil following a violent physical and verbal assault on the director and a teacher at the IES Los Montecillos secondary school in Coín, Málaga.

The incident occurred after the director summoned a student to her office regarding a conflict between students. According to reports, the student allegedly provided false information to his parents about the meeting. The parents then forced entry into the school by kicking the door and proceeded to attack the director, pulling her hair and kicking her while she was on the ground. A second teacher was also assaulted while attempting to intervene.

The Junta de Andalucía has expressed its firm condemnation of the acts, stating that such behavior is unjustifiable. The regional Ministry of Education has activated psychological and legal support for the affected educators. In response to the violence, the local community, including students, parents, and municipal representatives, organized a silent protest at the school to demand safety and respect for teaching professionals.
